Quilt As Art

The lady quilt is the result of a self-taught class. I was teaching myself how to set a circle into a rectangular piece of fabric. After I succeeded in doing that, I thought it needed something. I found an African print of this beautiful lady, gave her a new dress and designed the quilt around it.
