Quilt As Art

This is a much larger version of my original pattern “Little Bird”. It was made for my good friend Tom Burnett, who not only created my beautiful website, but is fun, gracious and kind. The quilt shows 3-dimensional feathers, machine appliqué, thread painting and machine quilting. My only inspiration was that Tom really loved my “Little Bird” quilt and his favorite color is blue!
